What To Do At Woods Valley

Pond

Fish - We stock our fishing pond every year. Best bait for the catfish: two week old liver. There are also LOTS of bluegill which are easy for the kids to catch, and some bass which our campers have caught at Lake Wolford and brought home to our pond. We encourage a catch-and-throw-back approach. We have a sign that says "fishing for kids only", but there are lots of times that moms or dads just happen to hold the pole while the kids have taken off somewhere else.
