Beautiful campground. Peaceful surroundings, everyone is so nice. Great little getaway while we visit family in Escondido! It’s like a little paradise hidden in the mountains. Close to everything we like to do outdoors.
We’re gonna keep this place in mind for our future visits to North County

We stayed in the Air B&B on site. We had an amazing stay. Even in the rain, the campground is beautiful. Dawn and Mark have done an incredible job with this place. I love the trees and rocks and tranquility.

This is by far one of the nicest camp grounds in all of San Diego county. It’s very clean, woodsy, spread out and feels like actual camping. The staff is wonderful as well. We never have a bad time when we stay at Woods Valley.

A hidden gem in North San Diego County! Pretty campground with lots of shade trees and views of the surrounding hills. The campground is well kept and the staff is friendly and accomodating. Located near Bates Nut Farm, which is a fun place to visit. We spent a weekend camping with a group friends in our vintage trailers. Nice to have the full hook ups. We look forward to returning to this awesome campground!

We stayed here for three weeks while our house was finishing up with renovations. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were very busy keeping the sites clean. It was nice to have a pool that was decent. Bathrooms and showers were cleaned daily and in excellent shape. Bathrooms were well stocked with TP, paper towels and soap. The club house/rec hall was nice to go to watch the news, grab a cup of coffee or hook up to WiFi, plenty of sitting area as well as tables. There is a pond with fish (catch and release), turtles and ducks, a cow and goats nearby as well. It’s a great property to camp at. We were very pleased. They have many options, dry camp, partial hook ups (water & electric) and full hookups. We were at a partial site, because the ones we wanted were booked. They have a dump station on site by pool area or they can drain/dump your tanks without you moving with their “honey wagon” for a small fee, well worth it for us.
Raul and Chris, two of the staff were so helpful and friendly.
The NEW owners Dawn and Mark were also friendly and helpful and worked right along with their staff. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this campground!

I am writing to you to let you know that my family and I had a great time at your campground! We were looking for a nice family place to camp and we certainly found it. The staff was wonderful and the camp was spotless. We really had a great time. Everyone was very accommodating and kind. It is certainly a place that we are going make a family affair every year. We are excited to come back, and to anyone considering Woods Valley as a vacation spot….. You won’t find a better, more beautiful place then it.

We really enjoyed our first stay. My 2.5 year old, Preston loves the campground as do my wife and I, the shady all day campsite, the pool, clean acilities, and quiet atmosphere, ” I really needed that as I am a work a holic and needed a little r & r with wife and little one. We will be back soon and you may feel free to print or whatever our recomendations for Woods Valley. I could bore everyone for a long time with details, but ya just gotta bring the family.

I can tell your family takes great pride in your facility. You should be very proud of Woods Valley Kampground!!!!! We have decided not to go anywhere else!
