Bates Nut Farm is a mile up the road from us. In addition to a great nut store and gift shop, they grow pumpkins for Halloween. Kids love to go wander the pumpkin patch to choose their pumpkin! They also host craft fairs, car shows and other fun activities. Sign up for our email list and we’ll let you know when.
Lake Wolford – Just over Bear Ridge from us. They have great bass fishing!
The San Diego Wild Animal Park is about a half hour from us and is fantastic family experience. You’ll get to see the animals in a very natural habitat. On your way there, check out the different fruit and vegetable stands and pick up some locally grown produce. Fruits and vegetables always taste better when just picked!
Casinos – There are several in the area. The closest is Valley View Casino which has a wonderful buffet everyday. Sign up for a players’ card and the buffet is free. It’s about three miles from us. Strictly for the adults. Just ask for the directions in our office. There is also 3 other casinos within 19 miles. Ask in the office, we have directions for all of them.
Golfing – Just down the road from us is Woods Valley Golf Club! It is approximately one mile and has beautiful 18-hole championship golf course. With challenges for all skill levels.
Wineries – Not too far is the town of Temecula which is filled with wineries. It’s always fun to go wine tasting and pick up some bottles of wine from local wineries. For the adventurous, you can book a hot air balloon trip.
San Diego – For a nice day trip, consider spending the day in beautiful San Diego. There are many activities to do all year round. We have the world famous San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, the Embarcadero on the waterfront and historical Old Town. Any one of these activities are a fun way to spend the day.
