Do you charge for showers?
No! They are free to our guests and we clean and stock our bathrooms regularly throughout the day.
Do you have Wifi?
Yes and it’s free! We have excellent coverage over almost the whole campground (tent sites are spotty) but if the park gets crowded, the WiFi does slow down a bit as would be expected.
Do you allow dogs?
Yes! We charge $3 per pooch per day. We ask that you be courteous and pick up after your dogs and keep them on a leash for their and others’ safety.
When can we check in?
1 PM but we usually can get you in earlier with a small early check-in fee. Give us a call.
And check out time?
12 noon, but if no one is coming into your site, you’re welcome to stay later with a small late check-out fee. Simply talk to the office.
Do you have a convenience store?
Yes! It has yummy camping foods and most items that you might have forgotten like soap, toothbrushes, etc. We also carry RV parts for minor repairs and our prices are very reasonable.
Is Woods Valley a good place to party?
No. We are a family park and we ask everyone to respect our 10 PM silent hour that we do enforce. We also ask that people respect other campsites and keep noise to within their own campsite so others can enjoy their own space too.
Can we have a campfire?
Yes, when the California Dept. of Forestry allows and flames must be kept at or below 3 ft in height. If you’ll let us know when you check in (and if one is available), we’ll bring you a specially designed, carefully engineered combustion containment device. (would you believe an old washing machine drum?) Fires are not allowed outside of park approved containers.
Do you sell fire wood?
Yes! $7 a bundle.
What kind of RV sites do you have?
Most of our RV sites have water, 30 amp electric service and we have full hookup sites (including sewer) available as well as partial sites (no sewer).
Do you have tent sites?
Yes! Almost all of them are along one of the creeks under sycamores and oaks. There is a 2-night minimum and tenting is only available Fridays and Saturdays with Sunday checkout unless it is a Holiday.
Do you have a map of your campground?
Yes! It’s actually on this website and you get one at check-in.
Do you have a dump station?
Yes! It’s only $20 for our paying guests.
Do you have a pump-out service?
Yes! It’s $30 per pump-out (we evacuate your black and gray tanks) at your site and you won’t have to even lift a finger.
Do we need a fishing license to fish in your pond?
No! We have a catch-and-release pond. Lake Wohlford is only 10 minutes away and you can keep your fish from there but need a permit for that.
Are we going to have any fun there?
Yes!
